Kansas (and other Midwestern states) are unfairly maligned. I've lived in other places that most agree are a form of Oz. Yet, as Dorothy knew, there's no place like home. I tell folks you have to look a little harder in Kansas, but there's a world of beauty to behold. I'm doing my best to prove the reward in camera of late, using deep knowledge of county roads I've amassed from years of cycling to find worthy frames. The highway I photographed tonight after sunset taught me a lot, and I'm slowly getting more comfortable with the dance again.
